Built Environment Skills in School Workshop
BESS is the Built Environment Skills for Schools, an organisation that works to make more understandable the construction industry to pupils. In May 2020, BESS organised a week-long series of events delivered by construction specialists, Re-Fabricate being one.
Working with BlushCloud we prepared workshop material for school teachers to introduce principles of circular economy to pupils aged between 9 and 14, to raise awareness of the importance of reuse and awareness within design and construction but also more broadly, to everyday choices. Materials included a presentation, a card game, video tutorial and design competition.
